Materials we use...
Neoprene
- ¼" thick high density closed cell
- only 5% water absorption when wet (for X.C.
water jumps!)
- high density for compression deflection, extra
neoprene insert of inside doubles protection for splint & fetlock areas
- lined with nylon this soft fabric is used on
the inside of the boot pulling perspiration away from your horse's skin.
- compression
deflection - C/D testing. In the test a 1.0" thick sample is compressed
by 25% by having a mechanical rod pushed down on it. The C/D is the
amount of force needed to compress a foam by 25%. So, a 2-5 psi means it
took 2-5 lbs per cubic foot of force to compress the foam. Most neoprene
used in equestrian products and medical devices have a 2-5 psi.
Cordura
- heavy duty 100 denier cordura is permanently
sealed with a unique "enduracote" finish offering superior protection under
all weather conditions.
- will not be affected by cold & is rated to
-40°F
- available in royal blue, hunter green, white, red
and black

Dear
Boogaloo,
Thanks for
delivering the boots at Wits End. I used them on his front legs
for that show and they were great! We had the fastest XC time
for Training Sr in that event, which allowed us to move up to
3rd place!
I did my
speed work with him in both the front and rear boots and we had
on of our most consistently quick speed work sessions yet. The
boots certainly don't slow him down. I've never been big on
additional hardware/weight, but that doesn't seem to be an issue
with these boots.
Cheers!
